Smart, sweet, gentle and kind. She has no desire to be an alpha and would thrive with other dogs. She has loved every person (adults/kids) and dog she has met. Physically very active and always ready to play, hike, run or explore she loves adventures!
TRAINING – Fast Learner
She is really smart and enjoys learning new things. She was taught to sit on the third attempt, was house broken in thirty six hours, and is learning a couple new words a week. She can tell the word ‘rope’ from ‘ball’ from ‘toy’, for example. She has been taught to fetch and will drop it on demand. Crate trained and non-destructive indoors, but does sort of think everything is to play with, but respects boundaries if set. She is also trained to be a good passenger in a vehicle.
COMPANION – Social and Engaging
She is loyal and protective on one hand and extremely affectionate and playful on the other. Aware of the other she’s playing with and able to pace herself. She is a team player. Seeks engagement both emotionally and in doing activities together.

Seeking a lifetime home for this special dog. Life circumstances have prevented her current home being just that, so a one time transition is best for Megs. She loves fiercely and fully.
